A Bit about me

  • Hello, I'm Sharon Pink, a Portuguese and Polish, queer, femme, Priestess, claircognizant witch & Tarot reader.

I am grateful and privileged to live on the unceded, traditional homelands of the Coast Salish people, specifically the səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) , xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), and Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) nations (aka vancouver, canada).

As a non-Romani person, it is pertinent for me to acknowledge Tarot as a practice and tool widely connected to Romani culture. In particular, that it is/has used by many Romani folks as a source of income in societies that enact(ed) genocide and wrongly discriminat(ed) them, and continue to do so.

Exploring magic as a child was a gift that allowed space for safety and connection. I spent hours on end talking to the Ocean, seeing spirits and sensing energy no one else seemed to notice. In years to come, these treasured moments ceased, and traded place with survival and persistence, but perhaps there was magic in that too.

My relationship with Tarot began when I got my first deck after many curious years. I used the cards daily and was amazed how the same cards followed me for months, while other cards never surfaced. As I began reading for others (around 2013), I quickly saw similar patterns emerge. Alongside the cards themselves, something else – much deeper and beyond words - opened in me and I’ve been working from that place ever since. I contiue to use Tarot, but also have a deepened divination practice using many other tools that arerooted in practices connected to my own lineage.

I am an artist and have a deep and longtime love for paint and poetry in particular. I am humbled and proud to have poems published in Room Magazine (2020), Poetry is Dead (2018) journal, and Feels Zine Eulogy (2020). I also have numerous self-published zines available.

  • One of my biggest blessings in life has been my teachers.

I've been fortunate to hone my psychic skills and confidence from and with my friend, teacher, co-conspirator and mentor Linda Beet on the territory of the Lekwungen nation.

In 2015 - 16, I trained in the somatic modality Rubenfeld Synergy Method. I first came to Rubenfeld as a part of healing my own pain that I was certain I would carry forever. Through working with Gilly Thomas of Working With Wellness, Rubenfeld allowed me space to gently tend to that pain holistically, while also expanding joy, love and excitement. Combining my personal experience with my training in Rubenfeld, I aspire to somatic awareness being present in my offerings.

In 2021-present, I completed year one of Witch School with Ylvadroma Marzanna Radziszewski. I am currenly in an additional, more intimate witch apprenticship with her. Their guidance and teachings continue to deepen and expand my approach to magic as being not just a practice, but truly woven into everything I do.

I hold much gratitude for being be a part of Reclaiming Witchcraft community. This is a spiritual home for me that has taught me the importance of intergenerational connections, that repair is possible and how circles are created together. I have and continue to attend numerous camps, rituals, classes, teachings and more within Reclaiming. We have a lot of work to do around white supremacy and we are doing it.

I had been self, book and community taught in astrology until taking a 10 week course Andi Javor in 2018 and again in 2023. Andi is wise, funny and kind, and offered a foundational, yet deep experience. While I am no astrologer, astrology often comes up in readings, and can be a super useful layer to add in.

This is by no means an exhaustive list, as I would also add my teachers being leatherqueers, witches, Elders, folks I share community with and more to be teachers who I cherish.

I also hold a social service worker diploma (2006). Much of my work has been with those impacted by HIV, substance struggles, sexualized violence survivors and youth.

Furthermore, I am a certified Mental Health First Aid facilitator, and am available for private bookings of 8-15 people online.

  • I am a witch of many tools and ways. To work from a holistic and anti-oppressive place, it's important for me to ensure my offerings allow space for folks to have varied relationships with spirituality, magic, their bodies, identities and the world.

Tarot is one of the many tools I use to engage with spirit and my guides, connecting to the messages that are needed to be heard. These days, I tend to allow more space for the claircognizant magic to happen, while having the cards in the space for grounding. I aim to have readings to be a magical experience, have space for emotions to arise and most importantly, are useful.

I aspire for my offerings to being anti-white supremacy, fat liberatory, gender affirming, leatherqueer honouring and sex worker positive.

I believe in Indigenous sovereignty, safety and the call for Land Back by Indigenous folks.

I believe that Black lives matter (and more than just that).

I support sex workers autonomy, safety and self-determination.

I believe gender can be fluid and that folks have a right to safely and confidently live their truthful identity.

I am committed life long to unsettling myself, and to striving to treat the land, all beings and people with dignity and respect.

Part of putting these beliefs into action is reparations with at minimum 15% of my income.
